Bridge type sensorIt belongs to a large tonnage sensor and has strong anti bias load ability when connected with a ball head. It is not sensitive to changes in loading points and has low installation requirements. High precision, low power consumption, fully sealed and suitable for various harsh environments, commonly used in weighing scales such as truck scales, track scales, floor scales, axle load scales, and storage scales.
The output of bridge type sensors is not related to the bending moment of the beam, but only proportional to the shear stress. The output is not sensitive to changes in the loading point, and its anti bias load ability is strong. Therefore, the scale body of bridge type sensors can be installed along the slope, and the number of scale bodies installed along the slope at highway toll stations is not small.
The main drawbacks of bridge sensors are their large volume, high material consumption, large installation space requirements, and heavy handling.
Bridge sensors also have the following characteristics:
(1) The shear force is a constant along the length direction of the strain beam,Load CellThe output is independent of the beam bending moment and only proportional to the shear stress, so it is not sensitive to changes in loading points;
(2) Due to the strain zone being an I-beam, the stress element at the neutral axis on the web is in a pure shear state, and the cross-sectional area under shear does not change under external load. Each resistance strain gauge produces basically the same resistance change, with good inherent linearity;
(3) Because the shear stress distribution of the I-shaped section is relatively uniform, the resistance strain gauge is pasted in the minimum parasitic stress zone of the four blind holes, and the application of patch and bridge assembly techniques can improve the ability to resist lateral and eccentric loads;
(4) The resistance strain gauge and compensation components are all in the blind hole, which not only provides the best protection, but also facilitates sealing with polyurethane, with a high level of protection;
(5) The loading point and two support points form a self balancing force system, making installation and maintenance convenient;
(6) The contact transfer of external load between the steel ball and the ball socket is theoretically a point contact, but in reality it is a very small contact circle. Due to the fact that the steel ball only transmits axial load and does not transmit lateral load and torque, measurement accuracy is ensured.
