1、 Introduction to German HBM C16M Weighing Module Products
German HBMThe maximum capacity of the C16M weighing module supplied is between 20 tons and 200 tons.
The C16M weighing module is mainly designed for tank weighing applications and is entirely made of galvanized steel or stainless steel.
The C16M weighing module is equipped with an integral lateral holding rail that can absorb horizontal forces, such as those generated by tanks used with mixing mechanisms or wind. Alternatively, users can install simple anti takeoff devices.
The module consists of a lower module plate for fixing to the foundation frame, a load unit with load transfer elements, and an upper module plate for installing the tank. The rocker pin is used for load transfer and provides compensation for horizontal deviation in the applied load (in the direction perpendicular to the lateral holding guide rail, for example, it may be generated by thermal strain). The weighing module is pre assembled and equipped with transportation safety clamps.
2、 Installation precautions for HBM C16M weighing module in Germany
1. When installing the fuel tank, it should be ensured that no impact load is applied to the module when lowering it onto the bracket. Even short-term loads exceeding the load cell limit may cause damage.
2. For heavy storage tanks or unfavorable installation conditions, it is recommended to use installation aids (auxiliary brackets, jack equipment).
3. The installation plate and upper template should be firmly fixed on the foundation, respectively fixed on the tank joint.
4、Weighing Module The installation should ensure that it is not subjected to lateral forces in its initial state. This means that the installed rocker pin load cells must be arranged as close to the vertical direction as possible. This is when the foundation and oil tank joints are level and the installation holes on the foundation and water tank are fully aligned. As provided, the installation of the transportation locking plate should comply with this requirement, in order to facilitate inspection of the hole pattern.
5. By screwing in a threaded rod of appropriate length and checking with nuts on the lower module board, an anti takeoff device can be achieved. The threaded rod must have a working gap in the through-hole of the container base. Check the other two nuts on the washer, with a working gap of approximately 2 mm relative to the container base.
6. To prevent welding current from damaging sensor components, it is recommended to use an EEK4 grounding cable (included in the power supply).
