1、 What does the range of a torque sensor mean?
The range of a torque sensor refers to the range of torque that can be measured and transmitted.
2、 How is torque calculated?
T=9550 * P/n P is the power kW, n is the speed r/min
N=60 * f/p f frequency, p-pole logarithm Example: known motor power 4kW
F=50HZ, 2-pole n=60 * 50/1=3000r/min, T=9550 * 4/3000=12.7N. M
3、 What ranges can be selected for torque sensors?
The range of torque sensors available on the market today is within 0& Flash; 10000 kN (Nm) standard, non-standard 20000 Nm, 30000 Nm, 50000 Nm, 80000 Nm, 100000 Nm, special ranges can be customized.
When determining the range of the torque sensor, it is recommended to leave a margin of 10% -30% to prevent damage to the sensor caused by the impact force generated during use. In addition, some motors may have excessively high impact force at the moment of startup, which may exceed the range range and affect the use and accuracy of the sensor.
If the maximum force to be measured is 600-700N, a sensor with a range of 1KN can be selected. Considering that different applications have different requirements for accuracy, impact resistance, and service life, the redundancy can sometimes reach 100% or even more.
