Each modelLoad CellBoth have a rated range, such as a weighing sensor with a range of 100kg, its measurement range is 0-100kg. If the weight of the weighing item exceeds 100kg, the weighing sensor is overloaded. Although most of today's weighing sensors have certain overload protection capabilities, overload protection should also be prevented during the installation and use of weighing systems, as overload protection may not necessarily be effective. Even short-term overload can cause damage to the weighing sensors.
The overload protection of weighing sensors is usually achieved by utilizing the elastic deformation of the sensor. The accuracy level of the weighing sensor is based on the rated load. The minimum division value based on the accuracy requirements of the scale is also different. The sensor cannot be overloaded arbitrarily because the absolute measurement error is proportional to the rated load.
During the weighing process, when the item is placed, the weight will exceed the weight of the item itself, which may cause the sensor to overload instantly. To avoid this issue, it is recommended to leave a margin of 10% -30% when determining the range of the weighing sensor, to prevent damage caused by overload to the sensor and affect its use and accuracy.
