The power output of the sensor has been revised, and the weighing instrument converts the output value to display real-time weight data. In this operation process, three main components play a major role, namely elastic components, resistance strain gauges, and detection circuits.
The elastic element will undergo elastic deformation under external forces, i.e. the gravitational force of the placed object. The resistance strain gauge is attached to the surface of the elastic element, and when the elastic element deforms, the resistance strain gauge will also deform accordingly. At the same time, its resistance value will change, increasing or decreasing. Afterwards, the detection circuit will detect the resistance change and convert it into an electrical signal output.
Metal resistance has the property of hindering the flow of current. Generally speaking, the thinner the same metal wire, the greater its resistance value. When a metal resistance wire is subjected to external force and expands, its resistance value will increase or decrease within a certain range. Therefore, when the metal wire (or film) is tightly attached to the object being tested, and the object being tested is subjected to external force and expands, the metal resistance wire (film) will also expand proportionally, and its resistance value will also change accordingly. The weighing sensor is used to measure the weight signal by pasting a metal resistance strain gauge onto a metal weighing beam.
