1. Use according to regulations

4. Environmental conditions

In your application, please note that acids and all materials that release (chloride) ions will corrode all grades of stainless steel and its welds. This may cause corrosion, leading to load cell failure. In this case, the operator must take appropriate safety measures.

5. Prohibit own conversion and modification

Unless we explicitly agree, the load cell must not be modified from a design or safety engineering perspective. Any modification does not include our full responsibility for any damage caused thereby.

6. Qualified personnel

The German HBM HLC/BLC/ELC weighing sensors can only be installed by qualified personnel strictly in accordance with the specifications and safety rules and regulations followed. For relevant applications, it is also necessary to comply with appropriate laws and security regulations. This also applies to the use of attachments.

Qualified personnel refer to those who are entrusted with the installation, assembly, debugging, and operation of products, and have qualifications that are suitable for their functions.

7. Accident prevention
