There are two installation methods for weighing sensors: pressure type and pull type

Among the types of load cells, there are single point load cells, cantilever beam load cells, column load cells, corrugated pipe load cells, bridge load cells, etc. Pressure load cells are the most widely used and can be applied in the vast majority of equipment.

There are S-type weighing sensors and spoke type weighing sensors that belong to the pull type, and these two types of weighing sensors can also be used for pressure type applications, so we call them the dual use of pull and press. In pull type applications, if the weighing sensor used in the scale has a small range, an S-type weighing sensor is usually used. If the range is large, a spoke type weighing sensor is only used.

In addition, there are also some columnar load cell models that support pull-type applications, mainly with a large range. Pull type weighing sensors are commonly used in equipment such as hook scales, material testing machines, ingredient scales, mixing stations, building materials scales, container scales, small silos, belt scales, and packaging scales.
