It is suitable for places where the usage environment is not harsh and cannot be used in corrosive environments for a long time. Alloy steel materials are mainly used for small and medium-sized weighing sensors, and are less commonly used in large range weighing sensors. However, in order to improve the moisture resistance of alloy steel materials, many brands now coat the surface of alloy steel weighing sensors with nickel, which can effectively prevent corrosion and improve moisture resistance.

In harsh environments where weighing sensors are used, stainless steel materials are suitable for weighing sensors. Stainless steel materials have good corrosion resistance and moisture resistance, can cope with more complex working environments, and can effectively protect the internal materials of the sensors. However, the disadvantage is that they are expensive and not conducive to cost control.

Aluminum alloy materials have high environmental requirements and are not suitable for application in complex environments. They have lower load-bearing capacity than alloy steel materials, but their advantages are light weight, high accuracy, and low price. They are usually used in equipment such as platform scales and weighing scales.
