Introduction to the concept, working principle, and application range of tension sensors

1、 Tension sensor concept

　　Tension sensorIt is a sensor used to measure the magnitude of tension, which refers to the mutual traction force generated internally when an object is under tension. For example, when a piece of cloth is subjected to tension, it tends to open, and the force that causes the cloth to open is called tension. The tension sensor is used to measure the magnitude of tension received on the cloth.

2、 Working principle of tension sensor

When the tension sensor is subjected to external pressure, the resistance value of the strain gauge will change accordingly, and the change in resistance value will be proportional to the magnitude of the tension applied, and the current signal will be transmitted to subsequent devices.

Due to the differences in tension sensors of different brands and models, if the current signal emitted by the tension sensor is small and cannot be directly recognized by PLC, it is necessary to amplify and filter the relatively weak voltage (current) signal of the tension sensor through a tension amplifier, and convert it into a standard voltage compatible with the PLC analog input interface.
