In the industrialized society, the application of machinery and equipment often requires the detection of various physical quantities, such as weight, tensile pressure, temperature and humidity, displacement, torque, etc. These information needs to be received through sensors, sent out millivolt signals, and then converted into electrical signals through transmitters.

Load CellIt is one of the types of sensors, mainly used in weighing equipment, and is a key component for weighing equipment to obtain weight information of the weighed object. The weighing sensor is composed of an elastic body, a resistance strain gauge, and a detection circuit, and is installed under the weighing platform.

When the weighing device is weighing, the object is placed on the weighing platform, and pressure is applied to the weighing sensor below the platform. The elastic element in the weighing sensor is deformed due to the pressure. The deformation of the elastic element causes the resistance strain gauge on its surface to deform, and the deformation of the resistance strain gauge causes its resistance value to change. The increase or decrease in resistance value will then be converted into a millivolt signal output through the detection circuit.

Usually, the weighing instrument connected to the weighing sensor cannot directly recognize the millivolt signal emitted by the sensor, and in this case, the transmitter needs to convert the signal.transmitter It is an instrument that converts non-standard electrical signals into standard electrical signals. The transmitter amplifies and standardizes the weak electrical signals collected by the sensor and sends them to subsequent display or control devices such as weighing instruments, or serves as a signal source for remote measurement and control. Analog quantities can also be converted into digital quantities as needed.

During the entire signal transmission process of the weighing equipment, the weighing sensor and transmitter are in a sequential relationship, with the weighing sensor in front and the transmitter following closely. Different physical quantities require different weighing sensors and corresponding transmitters, and sensors of different brands usually have matching transmitters.
