Load CellIt is an important component of electronic weighing instruments. When selecting weighing sensors, the main focus is on their performance, which to some extent determines the accuracy and stability of electronic weighing instruments. When purchasing, attention should be paid to the type, sensitivity, and accuracy of weighing sensors.
1、 Type
The types of load cells include S-type load cells, spoke type load cells, single point load cells, cantilever beam load cells, box type load cells, corrugated pipe load cells, column type load cells, bridge type load cells, micro load cells, and so on.
The application scenarios of different types of weighing sensors vary. For example, the S-type weighing sensor is mainly used for feed and ingredient weighing, the bridge type weighing sensor is mainly suitable for electronic weighing equipment, and the cantilever type weighing sensor is mainly used for monorail suspension weighing, etc. Choose the appropriate type and model of weighing sensor according to actual needs.
2、 Sensitivity
In general, within the linear range of the sensor, the higher the sensitivity, the better, because only when the sensitivity is high, the output signal corresponding to the measured signal is relatively large, which is conducive to signal analysis. However, high sensitivity also has its drawbacks, that is, the irrelevant external noise being measured will also be amplified by the system, which endangers the precision of measurement. Therefore, it is stipulated that the controller itself should have a high signal-to-noise ratio and try to avoid electromagnetic interference introduced from outside, in order to solve this problem.
3、 Accuracy
Precision is a key step in determining precision across all measurement systems. The higher the precision requirement, the higher the requirements for the manufacturing process, and the more expensive its value. When selecting a weighing sensor, there is no need to choose too high precision, only to meet the accuracy requirements of the entire measurement system. If the measurement purpose is qualitative analysis, it is sufficient to choose sensors with high repeatability accuracy, and it is not advisable to choose sensors with high absolute value accuracy; If it is necessary to obtain accurate measurement values for quantitative analysis, select sensors with accuracy levels that meet the requirements.
