According to the national standard of the People's Republic of China (GB7665-87), the definition of a transducer/sensor is a device or apparatus that can sense a specified measured object and convert it into a usable output signal according to certain rules. It usually consists of a sensitive element and a conversion element. The sensitive element refers to the part of the sensor that can directly sense or respond to the measured quantity and output other quantities (usually non electric quantities) that have a certain relationship with the measured quantity; A conversion element refers to the part of a sensor that can convert the sensitive element's perception or corresponding measurement into a usable output signal (usually an electrical signal) suitable for transmission or measurement< a>
