Because it is made of stainless steel material and has a protection level of IP67, it is very sturdy and durable, and can be used for a long time in harsh environments. It is suitable for hanging tank weighing, belt weighing, and sorting scales, especially for medium to large scales. U2A is also very suitable for additive weighing in the construction industry.

Installation instructions for the German HBM U2A load cell:
　

1. Handle the sensor carefully.
　

2. The sensor base must be horizontal, flat, and the sensor mounting surface must be absolutely clean. Dust, dirt, and other particles will not accumulate to avoid affecting the mobility of the weighing sensor and thus falsifying measurement values. Use a cover plate to protect the weighing sensor from external mechanical influences.
　

3. Do not overload the sensor (such as unevenly distributed loads; if necessary, provide overload protection (such as brackets).
　

4. During or after installation, each sensor should be shunted through a twisted copper cable (approximately 16 mm2) to prevent any welding or lightning current from flowing through the sensor.
