1、 Common accuracy levels of weighing sensors

Load CellThe common accuracy levels are D1, C3, C4, and C6. The accuracy level is related to the reliability of the measurement results, and the higher the level, the smaller the measurement error. Currently, most of the models provided by well-known weighing sensor brands have accuracy levels of C3 and D1.

2、 Terminology and concepts related to the accuracy of weighing sensors

1. The maximum number of divisions for determining the accuracy level of the sensor is expressed in units of 1000. For example, C3 represents a C-level weighing sensor with 3000 divisions.

2. Maximum calibration divisions of weighing sensors:

The measurement range of the weighing sensor can be equally divided into calibration divisions, and the error of the measurement result will not exceed the maximum allowable error.

3. Calibration graduation of weighing sensor:

The measurement range of the weighing sensor is divided into the number of calibration divisions.

4. Minimum calibration graduation value of a weighing sensor: The minimum graduation value (mass) that the measuring range of a weighing sensor can be equally divided into.

The sensors used in general trade measurement need to reach C3 level. That's 3000 divisions.

The calibration graduation value refers to the mass value of a sensor's measurement range divided into equal parts of the calibration graduation number.

For example, if a 30t sensor has a calibration graduation of 3000, its calibration graduation value is 10kg. Assuming its calibration graduation is 2500, then its calibration graduation value is 12kg.

Assuming that at a calibration graduation of 3000, this sensor meets the requirements of the national standard, then the level of this sensor is C3.

If it can only be calibrated at 2500 divisions and meets the standard, then this sensor is C2.5 level.

If the lower level can only be calibrated at 1000 divisions, then this sensor is C1 level, and the calibration division value at this time is 30kg.
