  1、 Designated use

Each force sensor has a designated purpose, such asGerman HBMIn the U93 seriesforce sensor Specially designed for measuring (static and dynamic) tensile and dynamic compressive forces within the load range of their respective maximum capacities specified in the technical data. Any other use is not a designated use.

To ensure safe operation, it is necessary to comply with the provisions in the installation and operation instructions, the following safety requirements, and the data specified in the technical data sheet. It is also necessary to comply with applicable laws and safety regulations for relevant applications.

The force sensor is not intended as a safety component. Also see& Ldquo; Additional safety precautions; Rdquo; One section. The correct and safe operation of force sensors requires proper transportation, storage, positioning, and installation, as well as careful operation.

  2、 Carrying capacity limitations

When using force sensors, the data in the technical data sheet must be followed. In particular, the corresponding maximum load specified must not be exceeded. The following limits specified in the technical data sheet must not be exceeded

  -ultimate load

-Lateral load limit

-Breaking load

-Allowable dynamic load

-Temperature limit

-Electrical load capacity limit

Please note that when multiple force sensors are connected to each other, the load/force distribution is not always uniform.

  3、 Accident prevention

It is necessary to consider current accident prevention regulations, even if the nominal (rated) force value within the damage range far exceeds the full scale value.

  4、 Additional safety precautions

The force sensor cannot perform any (safety related) cutoff (as a passive sensor). This requires additional components and construction measures that the installation personnel and operators are responsible for.

If the force sensor breaks or malfunctions, which can cause personal injury or equipment damage, the user must take appropriate additional safety measures to meet at least the requirements of applicable safety and accident prevention regulations (such as automatic emergency stop, overload protection, latch or chain or other fall protection).

The layout of electronic equipment for adjusting measurement signals should ensure that failure of the measurement signal does not cause damage.
