Daily maintenance requirements for electronic weighbridge

1. Daily maintenance of the weighing platform (more critical)

(1) There should be no foreign objects such as stones or coal blocks stuck in the gaps around the weighing platform.

(2) Regularly check whether the limit clearance is reasonable, and the limit bolt should not collide with the scale body.

(3) The connecting parts should be maintained every six months, and the support head should be coated with butter.

(4) It is prohibited to carry out arc welding operations on the weighing platform. If it is necessary to carry out arc welding operations on the weighing platform.

Please pay attention to the following points: (Disconnect the signal cable from the weighing display controller; the grounding wire for arc welding must be set near the welded part and firmly secured)

Contact with the scale body; Sensors cannot be used as part of the arc welding circuit

2. Maintenance of weighing display controller

(1) Regularly check whether each wiring is loose, broken, and whether the grounding wire is secure.

(2) When the weighing display controller is not in use for a long time (such as more than a month), it should be powered on for inspection according to environmental conditions to avoid being affected by moisture or other harmful gas erosion, which may affect its performance.

(3) The weighing display controller should avoid near heat sources and vibration sources.

(4) There should be no flammable or explosive gases or dust in the use environment.

(5) Inductive loads such as doorbells should not be connected to the same phase line of the weighing display controller.

(6) When the weighing display controller is not used for a long time, fuses are replaced, the position is moved, or dust is removed, it is necessary to cut off the power supply.

(7) If the weighing display controller malfunctions, it should be quickly powered off, and then notified to professional departments and personnel for inspection and organization. Users are not allowed to open the chassis at will, nor are they allowed to replace internal parts at will.

(8) Both weighing personnel and instrument maintenance personnel require specialized training to engage in operation and maintenance.

3. Replace sensor

(1) Open the cover plate above the sensor (damaged), use a jack to lift the weighing platform, and remove the sensor ground wire.

(2) Open the junction box and disconnect the damaged sensor cable from the junction box. Pull out the cable at the sensor end. Attention: When pulling out the wire, attach a lead wire to pass through the scale body, so that when replacing a new sensor, the cable can pass through the scale body and enter the junction box.

(3) Referring to the method in the second item above, pass the sensor cable through the scale body and enter the junction box.

(4) Fix each core wire of the cable on the corresponding terminal post of the junction box according to the wiring diagram.

(5) Loosen the jack, level the weighing platform, and cover the cover plate.

(6) After replacing the sensor, the truck scale must be reset and calibrated.

(7) After the installation of the sensor, its excess cables should be bundled and placed in bundles, and should not be directly placed on the foundation ground.

(8) To ensure the consistency and interchangeability of sensors, sensor cables must not be arbitrarily cut off.

(9) During installation and disassembly, there should be no scratches or collisions with the sensor, and the cable should be protected.

4. Computer maintenance

(1) Ensure that the computer grounding system is in good condition.

(2) It is strictly prohibited to frequently switch on or off, move or disassemble the computer at will.

(3) Computers should be kept away from water sources and close to strong electromagnetic interference.

(4) It is strictly prohibited to use foreign floppy disks arbitrarily to prevent virus infection.

(5) It is strictly prohibited to strike the keyboard with hard objects, such as screwdrivers.

(6) The computer room should be kept clean and the temperature should meet the requirements of the host manual.

(7) Operators must undergo training before taking up their positions.

5. System maintenance

(1) After the installation of the weighing instrument, the instructions, certificate of conformity, installation drawings and other materials should be properly kept, and only after being verified and qualified by the local metrology department or nationally recognized metrology department can it be put into use.

(2) Before powering on the system, it is necessary to check whether the grounding device of the power supply is functioning properly; After work and shutdown, the power must be cut off.

(3) Before using the scale, it is necessary to check whether the scale body is flexible and whether the performance of all supporting components is good.

(4) The weighing display controller must first be turned on and preheated, usually for about 30 minutes.

(5) To ensure accurate measurement of the system, there should be lightning protection facilities. During welding operations near the weighing scale, it is strictly prohibited to use the weighing platform as a neutral grounding to prevent damage to electrical components.

(6) For ground scale installed in the wild, the drainage devices in the foundation pit should be regularly inspected to avoid blockage.

(7) To keep the inside of the junction box dry, once wet air and water droplets are immersed in the junction box, an electric hair dryer can be used to dry it.

(8) To ensure the normal measurement of the weighing instrument, it should be calibrated regularly.

(9) When lifting and measuring heavy objects, there should be no impact phenomenon; When measuring vehicle mounted heavy objects, the rated weighing capacity of the system should not be exceeded.

(10) The axle load of a car scale is related to factors such as sensor capacity and sensor pivot distance. Generally, short wheelbase vehicles such as forklifts that are close to the maximum weighing capacity are prohibited from passing through the truck scale.

(11) Weighing operators and instrument maintenance personnel must thoroughly read the manual and relevant technical documents before taking up their duties.
