Installation instructions for weighing module
Mechanical installation
If necessary, shims can be used to adjust to evenly apply force to each sensor.
The top and bottom plates of the weighing module must be adjusted in a straight line to maintain the vertical direction of the force acting on the sensor.
When welding near the weighing module, it is important to pay attention to grounding, otherwise the welding current may pass through the sensor and cause damage.
The foundation requires a level and good rigidity, and there is a small difference in the required levelness between each foundation.
Be sure to tighten the support bolts of the weighing module during installation.
The weighing module must be installed in a convenient place for maintenance.
Connection
All wiring should use shielded insulated cables.
Electromagnetic interference can affect the output signal of the sensor, causing errors in weighing.
Isolate the power cord and sensor cable.
The junction box should be protected from moisture and corrosive substances.
Cables can be sleeved to prevent mechanical damage or erosion by damp or corrosive substances.
Do not arbitrarily change the length of the sensor cable, as this will change the output impedance of the sensor.
It is recommended to choose the recommended length and size of the connecting cable between the junction box and the weighing instrument, otherwise it may cause signal loss.
Preparation before calibration
Install a bracket on the tank body for hanging weights. The spacing between each bracket should be equal.
Before calibration, the output signal of each sensor should be tested to determine whether the force is evenly distributed to each sensor.
If necessary, shims can be used to adjust the level of the module or adjust the potentiometer of the junction box to maintain consistent output for each sensor.
