German HBMThe BM40/ClipX amplifier system is specifically designed for measurement tasks and directly related control tasks (automation systems). Any use other than the above is considered non designated. For safety reasons, the equipment can only be operated according to the instructions in the operating manual.
1、 Power requirements
The equipment can only be powered by safe ultra-low voltage (DIN EN 61558 or VDE 0570, safety of transformers, reactors, power supply devices, and their combinations). The power supply voltage must be between 10 V and 30 V (DC).
2、 Conditions of installation location
1. Prevent direct contact between equipment and water.
2. Prevent BM40/ClipX from being affected by moisture, rain, snow, and other weather conditions.
3. Do not expose the device to direct sunlight.
4. Please comply with the maximum allowable ambient temperature specified in the specifications.
5. 31& Deg; The allowable relative humidity at C is 95% (non condensing); At 40& Deg; Under condition C, the linear reduction can reach up to 50%.
6. It is safe to operate the BM40/ClipX at an altitude of 2000 meters.
3、 Conversion and modification
Unless explicitly agreed by the HBM manufacturer, modifications to the equipment shall not be made from a design or safety engineering perspective. In particular, it is prohibited to carry out any maintenance or welding work on the motherboard. Do not open the device. The product comes with fixed hardware and software configurations at the factory. Changes can only be made within the range of possibilities recorded in the operating manual.
4、 Requirements for installation and use personnel
This equipment can only be installed and used by qualified personnel (electricians or those who have received electrical engineering training) in strict accordance with the safety regulations listed here. This includes personnel who meet at least one of the following three requirements, depending on their assigned tasks:
1. It is necessary to understand the safety concepts of measurement and automation technology, and as project personnel, they must be familiar with these concepts.
2. As measurement or automation system operators, they have been instructed on how to use equipment. They are familiar with the operation of the equipment and technology described in this document.
3. As a debugging engineer or service engineer, you have successfully completed the training for the maintenance automation system. You are also authorized to operate, ground, and label circuits and equipment in accordance with safety engineering standards.
5、 Residual hazards
The BM40/ClipX system is an advanced and reliable equipment, however, the supply scope and performance of the BM40/ClipX system only cover a small part of the measurement technology. In addition, equipment planners, installers, and operators should plan, implement, and respond to safety engineering considerations of measurement technology to minimize residual hazards. For example, the design of automation equipment and devices must ensure sufficient protection or locking to prevent accidental startup (such as access control, password protection, etc.). When devices operate in networks, the design of these networks must be able to detect and shut down faults in individual nodes. Safety precautions must be taken in both hardware and software aspects so that wire breaks or other interruptions in signal transmission do not cause undefined states or data loss in automation equipment.
