Weighing Module It is generally installed at the lower part of the scale body, such as the feet and trays, or at the upper part of the scale body, such as the waist of the kettle, tank, and bucket. The distribution of module positions is based on the premise that the weight is basically evenly distributed on the sensors, rather than geometrically distributed. Modules of the same weighing system must be in the same horizontal plane. To create an accurate tank weighing system, it is necessary to ensure that all sensors are subjected to vertical and uniform forces. To achieve the above objectives, the tank and supporting parts should meet the requirements of levelness, straightness, rigidity, and parallelism as much as possible. The installation of the weighing module has a significant impact on the accuracy of the tank scale, and consideration should be given to the following aspects during installation.
1. In the tank scale system, the deviation of the support structure can affect the accuracy and repeatability of the scale. Therefore, there are three requirements for the design of the weighing module support structure: the angle between the support deviation on the weighing module and the horizontal line cannot exceed 0.5; The base bracket structure of the weighing module has a consistent deviation (deflection). The deflection of the support structure of a tank scale should be as small as possible, and the deflection of all supporting points should be consistent. Excessive deflection can cause changes in the deflection of the inlet and outlet pipelines of the tank, resulting in linear errors. When the deflection of each point is inconsistent, repetitive errors and zero return errors may occur due to creep.
2. If necessary, strengthen the support structure. When the load added to the metal bracket increases, the supporting part is prone to bending and increasing deflection, and excessive deflection can affect the accuracy of the tank scale. When the weighing module is installed in the middle of the support beam, the maximum deflection is generated. If this installation method is unavoidable, it is necessary to reinforce the support beam to minimize deflection. A better way to reduce deflection is to install the weighing module near the column, ensuring that the module is installed on the same size structural beam to avoid repetitive errors and zero return errors caused by different deflections.
3. Be careful to avoid mutual influence between cans. When two tank scales are installed adjacent to each other, if a common installation foundation is used, their weighing will be interfered with each other. Installing the module on a concrete foundation is the best choice, as the deflection of the concrete is very small and there is almost no impact between the two tanks. Another better option is to install the weighing module near the column, with each tank having its own independent support structure to limit deflection and reduce mutual influence.
4. Pay attention to the unified adjustment of the weighing module and the support beam. The centerline of the load applied to the sensor should coincide with the centerline of the weighing module support beam. To prevent the support beam from twisting during loading, reinforced web plates can be added
5. The principles of pipeline design. All pipelines connected to the tank should be laid horizontally to prevent the tank from being suspended due to the pipeline. Minimize the deflection of the tank scale support structure as much as possible to minimize changes in pipeline deflection. The first connection support point of the pipeline should be set as far away from the tank body as possible, which will increase the elasticity of the pipeline. Under the condition of meeting the process requirements, the smaller the diameter of the pipeline, the better, and the lighter the pipeline, which can also increase the elasticity of the pipeline. Whenever possible, use soft connections as much as possible. It should be avoided to fix the pipeline on a structure that is not connected to the tank, such as the upper floor. Instead, the pipeline should be connected to the support structure of the tank to allow the pipeline to move together with the tank.
6. It must act independently on the weighing sensor and cannot have any mechanical binding with other components that are not supported by the weighing sensor, otherwise the weighing will be inaccurate. Do not weld near the sensor without removing it beforehand, as welding current may pass through the sensor and cause damage to the sensor.
7. When designing the tank, consideration should be given to the position of the weights placed during calibration and the working position of the jack during installation and maintenance. The foundation (or floor) supporting the tank body should have sufficient bearing capacity and stiffness, and the foundation deflection deformation should be less than 3 mm.
8、Load CellThe principle of anti-interference measures should be taken for instruments during operation, such as separate grounding.
9. When the weighing module is installed at the waist of the pressurized tank, the dynamic load module must be selected due to the lateral force generated by the strain after the tank is pressurized.
10. To install the weighing module in a convenient place for maintenance, each module should have an independent grounding and must be calibrated after installation.
