Product Introduction

K-C9C is a miniature sensor designed specifically for compressive force - it can be configured according to your needs. New feature: IO-LINK option with built-in amplifier. The following is an explanation of each option.

1. Range

The measurement range of this sensor is 50 N to 50 kN.

2. Cable length

The C9C standard version is equipped with a 1.5m cable (01M5). In addition, the force sensor also offers the following cable length options: 3 m (03M0), 5 m (05M0), 6 m (06M0), 7 m (07M0), and 12 m (12M0).

Note: Models with built-in amplifiers (VA1, VA2, and VAIO) can only be used with cables of 1.5 meters and 3 meters in length.

3. Electrical Connection and Amplifier Options

According to the requirements, we can install one of the following connectors on the C9C:

Y=bare end, no plug component

F = D-sub-HD， 15 pins, used to connect MGC+(such as AP01) or Scout amplifier

Q = HD-sub-HD， 15 pins, used to connect various HBK signal conditioners in the Quantum series (MX410, Mx440, MX840, MX430, MX238)

N=MS plug, used to connect HBK signal conditioners such as MGC+(AP03), DMP, or DK38

M=M12 plug, 8-pin, used to connect digiBOX and DSE measurement amplifiers

VA1=Equipped with built-in amplifier 0... 10 V

VA2=4... 20 mA with built-in amplifier

VAIO=with built-in IO Link amplifier

4. Sensor recognition

You can order sensors with "Sensor Electronic Data Sheets" (TEDS, T). In this case, your sensor will be equipped with an electronic memory in which the technical parameters of the sensor are pre programmed. If the sensor is connected to an instrument with TEDS 0-wire function (such as HBK's Quantum series or ClipX module), the instrument will read the relevant data and automatically complete the setup process.

Note: TEDS can only be ordered with plug options (options F, Q, N, or M). TEDS is only applicable to sensors that are not equipped with built-in amplifier modules.

5. Firmware version

If you order the C9C with VAIO option, you will receive the latest firmware version, unless you choose an older version that is still available.
