Structural principle of weighing display
There are many types of digital display type weighing control displays (referred to as digital displays), and Figure 1 shows one of them. The digital display receives and processes the electrical signal output by the weighing sensor. Electrical signals can be analog or digital, with the most common being analog voltages ranging from a few to tens of millivolts. The circuit principle of the digital display is shown in Figure 2. The excitation power supply supplies the working power of the weighing sensor, and also supplies the reference voltage of the A/D (analog-to-digital) conversion unit, with a stability generally above 0.1%. The amplification unit usually adopts a measurement amplifier structure to receive and amplify the signal of the weighing sensor. The magnification is usually several hundred times. The filtering unit filters out the electrical noise mixed in from outside the machine and generated by the amplifier itself. The A/D conversion unit converts analog signals into digital signals, and the conversion bits are usually 14 or more binary numbers. The data processing unit is composed of a microprocessor as the core and peripheral support chips. It completes a series of operations such as data collection, calculation, and storage under the control of the program, and the processing results are sent to the corresponding interface. The display unit displays the weighing value and weighing status in the form of numbers, text, or charts, and can communicate with external devices through interfaces.
Performance characteristics
The performance of digital displays includes five aspects: metrological performance, functionality, environmental adaptability, safety, and reliability. Compared with general digital instruments, digital displays have five characteristics: ① they come with built-in sensor excitation power supply, which is convenient to use; ② The use of ratio type A/D conversion and frequency doubling technology has good long-term stability in metrological performance; ③ The software can accurately simulate weighing characteristics such as vibration, empty scale changes, and material drop, displaying fast, accurate, and stable results There are setting units for parameters such as zero setting, zero point tracking, calibration, maximum scale capacity, and indexing position inside the machine, which are easy to adjust and have strong universality; ⑤ With an output interface, it can connect multiple external devices and facilitate system control.
