Product Introduction
(1) TAD 3 weight processor monitors a weighing system based on strain gauges. It has an A-D resolution of nearly 14 million counts and easily interfaces with other PCs and PLC controllers through two communication ports. In addition to integrated backlit graphic LCD displays, it can also be used with external alphanumeric or graphic displays. The high precision and extremely fast transmission rate make TAD 3 an ideal choice for advanced process control applications.
(2) The TAD 3 recipe batch version allows storage of up to 30 recipes, with a maximum of 24 activities per recipe. Batch processing is performed through separate digital I/O units.
(3) The ingredient version of TAD 3 can mix up to six ingredients during the coarse and fine feed stages. Other process functions, such as stirring, heating, pouring, etc. Batch version control can also be used.
(4) A menu program guides the operator through all stages of the process. He can input alphanumeric information in his own language on a graphical display. Another method of performing setup and calibration is to use the deltaCOM program on a PC (see separate data manual).
