Product Introduction
(1) The PS-1020 transmitter is an independent weighing sensor signal conditioner designed around a precision analog instrument amplifier. The device is powered by 24 VDC and provides well regulated excitation power for up to four 350 ohm bridge weighing sensors. Simple configuration can be achieved by using DIP switches and fine-tuning potentiometers. The summation of integral weighing sensors eliminates the need for external junction boxes.
(2) Typical applications include bin or hopper conversion and ingredient inventory measurement systems.
(3) Standard ABS plastic and DIN rail design allow for installation near system sensors, thereby reducing installation costs. The integrated 20 bit terminal board can connect up to four weighing sensors. All electrical connections are fixed with screw terminals.
(4) BLH Nobel provides PS-121, 24 VDC power supply for PS-1020 operation (Data Sheet # 12155).
